Creative people get easily restless. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that hospitality people (who are creative by nature) have rarely sat still during the pandemic. So it’s no surprise to hear that Alex Dilling, the celebrated executive chef of The Greenhouse, is keen to get in a kitchen again (the two-Michelin starred restaurant has permanently closed). He’ll be cooking at Carousel from 13-24 October, of which there will be more details in Monday’s CODE Bulletin. It’s good news for those who want to taste Dilling’s food outside the confines of Mayfair. He’ll also be teaming up with Tom Aikens at Muse on 25 November.

I’ve also heard that Andrew Wong is working on a cookbook with the fabled restaurateur Mr Poon – now that’s a creative project to get excited about.
