At last 2020 is nearly behind us. We’re hopeful that the new year will bring more stability for the hospitality industry and many more new openings to look forward to. One for east Londoners to get excited about here, as KRAFT Dalston is heading to new development Kingsland Locke. Located inside the new apart-hotel, the restaurant is a joint project from Le Bab, German Kraft Brewery and Jim & Tonic.
Featuring a microbrewery and gin distillery on site, guests can expect the contemporary Turkish cuisine they know and love from Le Bab. Its classic pork shawarma kebab will be on offer, as well as a vegetarian paneer and a lamb kebab. There’s also a selection of snacks and mezze on the menu, including the meat butter naan (beef jus garlic butter spread over home-baked naan.)
The two-floor site will (when restrictions allow) have a DJ in the basement too. As expected, drinks include a selection of gins from Jim & Tonic. as well as German-style beer from Kraft Brewery. There will also a selection of cans and bottles to takeaway.
“Each of us has worked hard to hone our skills over the years and we can’t think of a more beautiful space to come together in” says the team. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.” Watch this space!
