A dish with heart

Restaurants in the capital being forced to close for a third time hasn’t stopped many trying to do their part to help those in need. This weekend, Goila Butter Chicken is teaming up with hunger-fighting charity The Felix Project.

Goila Butter Chicken only launched in the UK in November following a smash-hit residency at Carousel, marking its first site outside of India. The team at Carousel have since partnered with Goila to make the dish available seven days a week, and it will now be available for delivery across central London.

Running from Thursday to Sunday, every portion of Indian chef Saransh Goila’s butter chicken that customers order will help a Londoner in need, as the team at Carousel match this with a curry for the homeless.

With the city’s homeless population nearing 10,000, The Felix Project works to ensure the most vulnerable members of society receive nutritious food they would otherwise go without.  The donations will be distributed by the charity to homeless shelters round Central London in the run up to Christmas.
