The last 12 months have been hard enough as it is, so it seems many have decided to ditch Dry January this year. However a record 500,000 have signed up to the Veganuary challenge, and even with their doors closed many restaurants have quickly adapted to meet the growing demand.
There’s the ultimate vegan kit from Dirty Vegan filled with burgers, cookies and cocktails, Dishoom’s vegan sausage naan roll kits is a fan favourite, and both shroyu vegan ramen and Kolamba at Home vegan feast are also available to order.
One new kit in particular we can’t wait to try is Hoppers Vegan Meal Kit. The clever team launched its Cash & Kari online retail store back in October, selling curry powders, cocktails, meal kits and more available for nationwide delivery.
Now they’ve created a kit including everything you need to make Sri Lankan and South Indian favourite Breadfruit Kari, as well as Jaffna mix and vegetable rolls to snack on, and string hoppers to soak up any leftover sauce. The kit is priced at a very reasonable £25 for 2 people, and is available to order by clicking the link here.
To enjoy the full restaurant experience, you can also order cocktails from Cash & Kari, including the white ruby punch – a jasmine tea infused with port and Ceylon arrack – or the arrack attack made with ginger beer.
