One positive to take from the past year is the many new delivery and meal-kit platforms that have appeared, offering restaurants new ways to reach customers across the country. From Restaurant Kits to Big Night, these initiatives have been a lifeline for many hospitality businesses. Now, Feast It – the UK’s largest events booking platform – has launched an exciting initiative called The Deli.
A platform for meal kits from the UK’s best restaurants and caterers, the team at Feast it has partnered with Pizza Pilgrams, Lima, Caper & Berry and more for the launch. The team won’t be taking any profit from the platform, as all money made will go directly to caterers or marketing efforts.
There are plenty of good options for customers to try, from a fondue kit from The Cheese Bar to a DIY dosa kit from En Root. Plus, there are already big plans for the platform to expand and sell products, merchandise, drinks and more.
“Here at Feast It we cannot wait for events to come back, bigger and better than ever,” says co-founder Digby Scott. “But in the meantime, it’s so important that we keep supporting this incredible industry to make sure it’s there for us on the other side – purchasing a meal kit from The Deli is a great way to do that.”
