On Thursday 12 March Emilia will be hosting a charity dinner, ‘La Famiglia’ in aid of Great Ormand Street Hospital, a cause very close to head chef Alice Norman’s heart. All profits from the event will be donated to to the hospital, and a talk on the evening will share with guests how the money will be spent.
At £85 per person, guests will enjoy a four course menu cooked by a different restaurant from The Woodhead Group (the team behind Clipstone, Portland and Quality Chop House), with matching wines.
The starter will be created by Portland, the pasta course by host restaurant Emilia, the main by The Quality Chop House and finally dessert by Clipstone. Each restaurant will take inspiration from Emilia and Italian cuisine to create a dish that represents their restaurant. Wine bar and shop Quality Wines , the fifth business within the Woodhead Group, will select wine pairings to accompany each dish.
