As restaurants in the capital put the finishing touches to their dining rooms for the reopening of indoor hospitality on Monday, the Windmill in Mayfair is taking advantage of the final few days of outdoor dining to get the pie ovens warmed up and test run the Upstairs restaurant’s new menu.
The Windmill’s new head chef, Giovanni Finco, has revamped the restaurant menu and there’s an exclusive two night preview of the new offering on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May, with guests served in the covered terrace.
Restaurant manager, Dominic Rowntree says, “The team and I are so excited to bring the Windmill out of hibernation and to start looking after people again, serving them great pints and pies and glasses of wine. I’ve missed hospitality an unbelievable amount, and I can’t wait to see the dining room full of buzz and chatter again. What is the world without restaurants?!”
The Windmill reopens on 17 May for its signature pies and pints and Upstairs at the Windmill will reopen on Tuesday 18 May for lunch and dinner.
Bookings are now live for the special preview nights this Friday and Saturday. Please email [email protected] or call 0207 491 8050
