Inverlochy Castle, Scotland’s finest 5 star Country Hotel, is rich in landscape, history and breath-taking places. Nestling in the foothills of the mighty Ben Nevis, Inverlochy Castle sits amidst some of Scotland’s finest scenery. We are looking for a motivated, hard working Head Chef to join our kitchen, overseen by Michel Roux Jr this is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious, passionate person. £50k plus, and a share of tips.
The Head Chef must be an inspirational leader, motivating and developing the team with their correct example and creating a culture of passion and enthusiasm for the preparation and service of all food within the hotel including breakfast, lounge meals, afternoon tea, room services and our fine dining menus. The Head Chef will cultivate an excellent working partnership with the restaurant management team.
They must provide food that not only meets and exceeds our guest expectations in flavor, substance and presentation, but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards. This is in addition to ensuring that the food costs of the business are well managed.
The highest of standards is required and applicants must be career driven and friendly, preferably with a minimum of one year experience at Head Chef level.
