We’re a friendly, independent business looking for a vibrant and outgoing Assistant Manager to join our team as we head into our 23rd year! If you’re passionate about delivering top-notch hospitality and love working with a great team, we’d love to meet you.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Strong leadership skills
• The ability to inspire and motivate a dynamic team with varying levels of experience
• Staying cool under pressure
• A top-tier work ethic
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional service
• Great communication skills
• Experience in fast-paced, demanding environments
• Confidence to take the reins in the manager’s absence
• At least 4 years in the restaurant industry, with 2 of those at a supervisory level
• A friendly and approachable personality, able to build strong relationships with regular customers
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK
Your responsibilities will include:
• Running shifts independently
• Reconciliation of tills at the end of shifts
• Mentoring and training new team members
• Bringing a fresh and dynamic approach to your work
• Continuously raising the bar and improving service standards, all while assessing the business on a daily basis
Starting salary is around £40,000, made up of base pay and Tronc, for a 45-hour week (which will be reviewed after 6 months). Hours are flexible, and we can discuss them during the interview.
