Role Introduction
This is an important and exciting role as brand guardian for the Culpeper Family, a group of four central London pubs and a little farm in Deptford.
Working alongside the founder, the creative director and external PR team you’ll manage our brand identity and marketing across the four pubs. You’ll understand the nuances of each site, help create content and copy with charm and deliver on the marketing calendar for the year.
This is a flexible and roaming role across all the sites, which relies on building relationships with the chefs, suppliers, general managers and gardeners to deliver a unified Culpeper Family brand vision while maintaining the individuality of each site.
Role Detail
- Work closely with our external PR team to assist with image and feature requests and help bring to life the brand’s PR strategy for the year.
- Lead the strategy across social platforms with post planning and scheduling – 1 to 2 posts per site per week.
- Commission and manage the content creation with external photographers / videographers / graphic designers as well as working with the general managers and their teams to capture the life of the pubs internally.
- Write engaging and on-brand copy for the individual pubs where required.
- Manage and deliver one quarterly newsletter for the group.
- Take responsibility for making the group websites live and breathe. Stay on top of Culpeper Family updates and journal entry updates.
- Deliver 1 pop up / collaboration per quarter per site. From logistics and planning to spreading the word and growing a loyal following
- Spot and develop opportunities for the brand via collaborations, trends and supplier / seasonal focusses.
- Manage all existing third-party relationships such as Ambl and Krowd, acting as the main point of contact for The Culpeper Group. Continually research and present new marketing ideas and channels through various third-party opportunities such as Code, Timeout and The Fork.
Who we’re looking for
- Someone excited by our manifesto and helping communicate it.
- A team player with strong creative and strategic vision and an understanding of the balance between brand equity and commercial results.
- An independent and pro-active individual with excellent communication and analytical skills and eye for detail.
- 2-3+ years in a hospitality marketing role, with examples of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Location and Flexibility
The role is full time and flexible, to make sure you’re experiencing / capturing the life of the pubs. When not at the pubs, you’ll be able to work from our architecture studio on Toynbee Street, 3 minutes from the Culpeper.
