New Opening, London Stock
London Stock brings a new style of modern fine dining to Wandsworth
Opened this January, London Stock is a fine dining restaurant with a twist – where elegant & modern British fine dining meets innovative Asian cooking techniques, set in the historic heart of Wandsworth.
Taking prime position within the restored listed Young’s brewery building, the restaurant will be dual aspect, facing onto Ram Quarter’s Bubbling Well Square and Wandsworth High Street entrance.
The first restaurant from Le Cordon Bleu-trained Assem Abdel Hady, the team behind London Stock has a strong pedigree, including experience at two Michelin-starred restaurants Umu and Dinner by Heston and one-starred restaurants Nobu, Pollen Street, and Hind’s Head.
Targeted at young professionals and families, London Stock aims to bring a new form of modern fine dining to Wandsworth at a reasonable price and within a less formal setting. Open 7 days a week from 8am, the restaurant will seat up to 80 covers, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner including a £25 lunch set menu.
The stunning menu celebrates the best of British ingredients with a modern international twist. Carefully sourced ingredients can be found from speciality suppliers including Exmoor Caviar, Wiltshire Truffle company and Mash, to name but a few. Gastronomes can choose to dine in the main restaurant or at the intimate Chef’s Table, sampling the seasonally changing menu which includes highlights such as fresh oysters, venison wellington and monkfish shijo koji.
Oenophiles will rejoice over the wine list which includes a host some of the finest vines sourced from across the globe, including but not limited to Portugal, Hungary, Germany and California. Further temptations come in the form of the eclectic cocktail menu, including Seabuckthorne Bellini, Nogroni (London Stock style) and Winter Spiced Daiquiri.
A touch of decadence, a twist of classic cuisine and a pinch of oriental, London Stock is your new go-to for exclusive convenience in South West London.
