Months after launching Arcade Food Hall at Centre Point in Tottenham Court Road, JKS Restaurants has announced a second, which will open at Battersea Power Station in 2023.
The space will replicate the original Arcade in format, but the food offerings will be different: JKS said it will partner with chefs and restaurants to develop new brands, much like its work with Luke Farrell, whose Thai concept Thai Plaza Khao Gaeng has proved wildly popular.
Alongside food and drink kiosks, there will be three standalone restaurants and a bar in the 24,000 sq ft site. Only Bao has been confirmed so far, although at Arcade it might arrive in a different form.
‘We’re creating a number of exciting new brands showcasing even more global cuisines for the food hall’, JKS said.
We suspect another Thai might be on the way: JKS’ Karam Sethi has mentioned the group’s desire to work more in that area. Plaza has been successful, and already Farrell has been tasked with a second in the upcoming Soho spot Speedboat.
