The highly creative art-world movers and shakers Hauer & Wirth are also major tastemakers when it comes to restaurants, with their hospitality arm Artfarm. Iwan and Manuela Wirth have already made Bruton in Somerset and Braemar in Scotland real destinations for food with Roth Bar & Grill and The Fife Arms respectively. Now it’ll be easier to enjoy the stylish experience – it’s been announced that Artfarm will open The Audley pub on Mount Street.
Of course, with Ewan Venters joining the company as CEO in January, the company is already strengthening and the launch of the Grade II-listed five-storey restaurant, bar and rooms will be a major event for Mayfair. It will take two years to renovate the space but given the exciting, art-packed aesthetic at their other venues, it’ll be worth the wait.
