With rules changing week-by-week and even day-by-day, it’s been encouraging to see just how quickly hospitality businesses have managed to adapt to ongoing restrictions. We like the sound of Napoli Gang by Big Mamma – the team behind Gloria and Circolo Popolare.
The new deliver-only restaurant launched this week, bringing loaded pizzas and more straight to your door. 10 pizzas will be on offer, including San Marzano tomato and candied red onions and the ‘Notorious B.I.Cheese’, loaded with parmesan, gorgonzola and mozzarella.
Artisanal products from friends and family producers will also be available, such as charcuterie, burrata and fritti recipes such as arancini balls with truffle. Customers can also choose add wine and desserts – including an ‘ultra creamy tiramisù’ to their order.
Even better: Napoli Gang will act as a social enterprise, joining forces with Street League, a UK-based charity which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds overcome barriers to employment.
Initially available within a two mile radius of their Shoreditch kitchen, the team will soon expand to Kentish Town, with further locations to be announced.
