Queens of Mayfair to open in March

Published 12 December 2019

Two young entrepreneurs Victoria Sheppard (30) and sister Grace Sheppard (28) have announced they are opening coffee shop and wine bar Queens of Mayfair in March. Located at 17 Queen Street, Queens will be open for breakfast, lunch and afterwork drinks, as well as featuring an events space. There will be a grab and go section and takeaway coffee counter, alongside seating and private dining.

Victoria Sheppard has a background in PR and marketing strategy in luxury hospitality, including Fortnum & Mason and 45 Jermyn St. Meanwhile Grace Sheppard has studied nutrition and manages interior design projects, and will be overseeing the design of Queens. The coffee shop will be the sister’s debut hospitality venture.

The menu will feature home-made products, with the produce primarily sourced from their home county of Dorset and locally in London. As Grace has been vegetarian for 19 years, the menu will include a variety of plant based dishes, however there will be something for everyone as the menu isn’t entirely meat free.

The sisters have also announced a collaboration with Difference coffee, suppliers of 61 Michelin-starred restaurants and members clubs worldwide. Queens of Mayfair will be their only collaboration outside of the fine dining sphere.

Amir Gehl, CEO of Difference Coffee comments “We are delighted to be collaborating with Victoria and Grace of Queens on this exciting venture. We truly believe there is alignment in our premium offerings and a cohesive vision of our brands.” Victoria adds “Having been involved in many high profile campaigns it is a dream come true to have a launch with Grace.”

Queens of Mayfair will open at 17 Queen Street, Mayfair, London, W1J 5PH. To find out more, visit their website here
