Entries now open for the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards 2020

Entries for the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards 2020 are now open. Since 2012 the awards have celebrated the best writers, publishers, broadcasters, photographers and personalities working in food and drink.

An independent panel of professional judges select the winners in 13 categories from work published or broadcast during 2019.

The 2020 judging panel is as follows:

  • EWAN VENTERS – CEO Fortnum & Mason (Panel Chairman) 
  • ANNA JONES – Cook, author and columnist, The Guardian 
  • CHETNA MAKAN – Author and food writer 
  • JANE PARKINSON – Author, columnist and presenter, Saturday Kitchen 
  • JEREMY LEE – Chef proprietor, Quo Vadis 
  • NICK STRANGEWAY – Drinks consultant 
  • ROBIN HUTSON – Chairman & CEO, Lime Wood Group Ltd and Home Grown Hotels Ltd 
  • DAVID LOFTUS – Photographer (guest judge for the Photographer category)

The categories include food book, restaurant writer, radio or podcast, photographer, programme and cookery book.

The deadline for entry is the 31 January 2020. To enter, vote or find out more information, visit the website here.

The shortlist will be announced on 8 April, with the winners revealed on 14 May.
