I noticed one of the Cook for Ukraine founders Alissa Timoshkina expressed concern that interest in the campaign will cool in the weeks to come.
It’s fair to say these social media-fuelled charity endeavours often start off big and then quieten down. That is often the way with engagement, in any industry.
We should probably do the opposite and step it up. This doesn’t mean over-stretching resources or spending time on projects when time simply doesn’t exist. But there is a lot more many of us can do.
Everyone at CODE will continue to highlight Cook for Ukraine and those taking part. Hopefully efforts won’t be needed too much longer, but for now, please send us news of supper clubs, menu specials, and any other vital work going on so we can spread the word as best we can.
