Do the Top Cuvée team ever sleep? We’re not so sure. One of the first out the blocks to pivot to an online shop and takeaway service during lockdown, they later built on the success to open a bricks-and-mortar site for Shop Cuvée, selling and delivering natural wines nationwide, before launching meal-delivery service Take Cuvée. Next up, Barbecuvée, a new food and cocktail delivery service.
With the warmer months coming and picnics in the park finally allowed again, Barbecuvée is available both to take away or for delivery to Clissold Park and Highbury Fields. The team will be cycling around North London every weekend until 16 May, when restaurants will hopefully be able to open inside again.
The BBQ street-food menu features snacks such as oysters, whipped cod’s roe and grilled flatbread, and deep-fried onions with aioli, alongside sandwiches including zucchini fritter and chimichurri. There are also desserts for those with a sweeter tooth, with a chocolate and blood orange mousse and a rhubarb fool on offer. Drinks include negroni, glasses of wine, and vermouth and soda.
For those feeling hungry or meeting up in a group of six, the whole menu can be ordered for £52.50. There’s no surprise it already looks like it’s sold out for this Sunday, so we’re sure it will be yet another smash hit for the Top Cuvée team.
