The Ferragamos might be best known for their fashion but the Italian family have a passion for food and wine. Their Tuscan estate in the Arezzo valley focuses on promoting biodiversity and organic farming and at the end of last year opened their Tuscan bistro concept, of which they have one in Dubai, in the former Nobu Berkeley Street site in Mayfair. The room, decorated in chic farmhouse neutral tones, is a vast place with a bar and restaurant downstairs and another restaurant space upstairs. The menu is classic northern Italian food with plenty of antipasti of beef carpaccio and vitello tonatto, a big choice of pastas along with secondi and pizzas. Needless to say the wine list has a strong Tuscan focus and be sure to order a tiramisu too.

There has been a lot of buzz around Park Row since it opened last year, and The DC inspired experience has been on my list for a while. Entering through a library, we were welcomed down a spiral staircase and through an atmospheric backlit doorway and enjoyed their signature ‘blue boy’ cocktail. Park Row is home to some 5 bars and restaurants, and tonight we were experiencing Pennyworth’s. The hand dived scallops and potato croquettes with lobster and caviar are highly recommended, and the wild sea bass with razor clams and decadent truffle mac & cheese were a standout. Park Row is all about the theatre, and it’s a lot of fun. 50% off on CODE app too!

Whilst Heston Blumenthal is most famous for his 3-michelin starred Fat Duck and his 2-starred Dinner by Heston, it was at the quieter Crown at Bray that this stunning Sunday lunch was devoured. An hour away from London, Bray is the beautiful little waterside village that plays home to a disproportionate number of fabulous places to eat and despite the esteemed company, the Crown at Bray holds it own fabulously well. Pictured, a fantastic Sunday lunch, featuring roast partridge, excellent spuds, tender carrots and a generous serving of appropriately braised red cabbage.

I love a great pub, and The Coach Maker’s Arms is just that. The Marylebone pub has a traditional, comforting feel and serves all the pub classics really well. I joined a lunch in celebration of British Pie Week where I tried the lamb neck nihari pie, which is a collaboration between Kricket and Cubitt House. The crispy pastry, spicy lamb filling and buttery mash make for perfect mouthfuls with every bite. Don’t forget to kick things off with their delicious scotch eggs.

I ate so many good things this week. Too many some would say. My dinner on Wednesday evening consisted of crispy chicken and rice from Baozilnn, pork pilbil tacos and queso nachos from DF tacos, pork ribeye shawarma from Le Bab, Inamo Sukoshi sushi, wings from Chick Chick Crew and nduja ragu from Pasta Evangelists. Oh and dulce de leche churros for dessert. Admittedly this wasn’t all just for me, it was shared with friends and family in celebration Market Halls Oxford Street reopening. A site I’ll be sure to revisit on the reg.

If you’re in Liverpool and looking for a quick eat you’re spoilt for choice with street food markets across the city. Baltic Market claims to be the first and its converted warehouse meets graffiti vibes typify the continuously evolving Baltic Triangle neighbourhood in which it sits. Half and half (O.G. and Gangnam Style) Korean Fried Chicken from Little Korea got my vote. The dishes coming out of Spice Thai looked well worth a shout too.
