Wild Turkey and Matthew McConaughey champion UK bar industry at Thanksgiving dinner

Wild Turkey has chosen to give thanks to the UK bartending community this year by hosting 50 bartenders from around the UK for a Thanksgiving dinner. 

Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, who is Wild Turkey’s creative director, sent a special video message to show his gratitude to those in attendance, thanking UK bartenders for their hard work. 

“At a time when so many people in the UK hospitality industry have changed their careers, you stuck it through and you’re still here.”

This isn’t the first time Wild Turkey has acknowledged the UK bar scene. Last year they highlighted the work of ‘local legends’ from across the globe, heroing the work of The Drinks Trust in the UK, who provided care and support to those who make up the drinks industry workforce.
