Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of ‘old Soho’. This 18th century town house has, for nearly forty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal daily changing menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity. We are searching for a talented and motivated Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team, in our bright friendly kitchen.
Responsibilities
-Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
-Maintain the highest standards for quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
-Oversee and train junior cooks, ensuring proper technique and adherence to recipes.
-Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
-Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications
-Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a restaurant kitchen environment.
-Strong understanding of culinary techniques and principles.
-Experience with plating and presentation.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication skills.
-Proficient in knife skills and kitchen equipment operation.
-Passion for food and a commitment to continuous learning.
